A HUGE thank you to everyone who supported Sainabou and donated towards her 5k run to raise money for Tabaxh! Sainabou founded Tabaxh in 2021 to address gender-based inequities in the access to higher education in The Gambia, and to increase the proportion of women engaged in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) sector. For each school year, Tabaxh will offer scholarships to women who are residents of The Gambia, to pursue full-time courses in any subject available within the built environment at college or university level in The Gambia.

Sainabou has raised £2740 so far with your help (surpassing her 2022 target of £500). The money raised this year will go a long way in sponsoring women to study a construction related course in The Gambia. If you would like to support Tabaxh, please visit our donate page.
