About Us
Tabaxh (ta-bahh) means “to build” or “to construct” in Wolof.
Our Purpose
The aim of Tabaxh is to promote gender equality in construction by providing women in The Gambia an opportunity to attain the academic qualifications required to contribute to the built environment.
For each school year, Tabaxh will offer full-cost scholarships to outstanding women who are residing in, or nationals of The Gambia, to pursue a full-time course in any subject available within the built environment at university level in The Gambia.
The scholarships will be awarded for the duration of the successful candidates’ studies.
