The Interview
Applications for the Tabaxh scholarship for September/October 2024 are now closed.
If your application is shortlisted, you will be invited to a 20-25 minute interview via Skype, FaceTime, WhatsApp or Zoom.
The interview will comprise of the following topics:
Your motivation for applying
Why you think you should be awarded the Tabaxh scholarship.
Your thoughts on the opportunities and responsibilities that a full-cost scholarship at the University of the Gambia, Crab Island TVET or the University of Science, Engineering and Technology (USET) brings.
Your academic work to date - can you convincingly communicate your passion for, and the importance of, your chosen subject?
Your proposed degree at the University of the Gambia, Crab Island TVET or USET - can you provide a convincing justification for your choice of course?
Your career plans - can you convincingly link your application for both a Tabaxh scholarship and your proposed course to your future career plans?
You may also be asked probing intellectual or ethical questions, to which there are no 'right' answers.
Final thoughts and any questions you might have.
